Nestled on a humble corner in Coffeyville Kansas, our little church acts as a light in the darkness.  Our mission is to spiritually uplift our community, and work towards a greater good.  God directed our family to Coffeyville in 2000 and to be honest, we came kicking and screaming. However, immediately after being obedient, God's will began to reveal itself.  Blessings upon blessings have been bestowed upon our church and everyone who chooses to embrace it.  We have witnessed many financial and healing miracles.  Our faith and spiritual growth exceeds anything we could have imagined and every day it only continues.

Our Pastor, Rhebeeda Thornton, has been a humble servant of the Lord for 35 years.  She is ordained through Living Faith Evangelistic Association. She was originally radically saved in the Baptist church. However, Every day her hunger for God grew stronger. She stayed in the Word, receiving as God led her. Then about six months later, after receiving sanctification, she was baptized with the Holy Spirit. From that time on, God has called her to teach and then to preach.  Her husband of 43 years, Don supports her in every way.  Although Rhebeeda fills her position as God's mouthpiece, Don is anointed as a watchman with much spiritual wisdom.  Together, they form a very spiritual and  anointed leadership team.   

Our congregation consists of a higher ratio of children compared to adults.  We
embrace this with open arms. We realize that they are our spiritual future.  We encourage them to be involved in all aspects of our services. Every service the children are welcomed upon the platform to sing and worship the Lord with us. We feel that it is vital to place these instincts in them early. For the Word of God says, "train your children up in the way they should go and when they are old they shall not depart from it."  We also encourage their prayer requests. We firmly believe in teaching our Children how to pray and praise!  We set an atmosphere were people can relax and let their kids be kids.

                                                                                                                           One of the main reasons why are church is so very blessed is because of the way we   
pray. We firmly believe in taking the authority that Christ has given us in all aspects of our lives, especially healing and our finances.  Our church is a little unique in some areas.  For instance, unlike most churches, we believe in praying over the offering AFTER it is received.  Every time you give, you can rest assured in knowing that your gift is blessed and the devourer is rebuked off of God's offering. The very windows of heaven are then opened and blessings are poured down upon God's humble and obedient people.
"Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me  now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to contain. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes," Malachi 2:10-11
